If you forgot your MYOCC Username and/or Password:

If you are experiencing difficulties accessing the “Check Financial Aid Status” system, and you have confirmed your MyOCC login and password, the following may be reason(s) you are not able to login:

  • You must first complete a FAFSA application at www.fafsa.gov and list Orange Coast College on your application. Our school code is 001250.
  • If you have recently completed your FAFSA with our school code, please allow approximately 7-10 business days to access the “Check Financial Aid Status” system.
  • You must also have your Social Security number on file with the Enrollment Center to be able to access the “Check Financial Aid Status” system. If you are applying for financial aid, your Social Security number is required at the time you complete your Admission application.
  • If you did not provide this at the time you completed your Admission application, please contact the Enrollment Center at the Orange Coast College. If required, you will need to bring the original Social Security card to update your account. Once you have updated your Social Security number, please allow 48 hours for your “Check Financial Aid Status” login to be activated.

  • You must also have your Social Security number on file with the Enrollment Center (Admissions & Records) and assigned a student id #, to be able to access the “Check Financial Aid Status” system.
  • If you did not provide this at the time you completed your Admission application, please contact the Enrollment Center (Admissions & Records) at Golden West College. If required, you will need to bring the original Social Security card to update your account. Once you have updated your Social Security number, please allow 48 hours for your “Check Financial Aid Status” login to be activated.
